Applications are invited for the post of:
FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER (**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS PER WEEK)

The Family Support Worker postholder will work closely with the
Manager to help implement Ballymote FRC work plan.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
* A relevant third level qualification – minimum Level 8 (for
example, Family Support Practice, Community Development, or a related
discipline).
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience, post qualification, of family
support in a community-based setting, including experience of:
* Organising community events.
* Working with community, voluntary and statutory agencies.
* Understanding of family and parent support in a community setting.
* Understanding of Community Development principles and practices.
* Delivering programmes, activities and/or services to groups.
* Providing one-to-one supports directly to parents/families.
* Delivering parent support programmes.
* Providing information and support to individuals and groups.
* Familiarity with _Children First: National Guidance for the
Protection and Welfare of Children_ and Meitheal - TUSLA National
Practice Model.
* Proven experience in accessing funding.
* Excellent IT, social media and report writing skills.
* Access to own transport and a full clean driving license.
